Redang Island (Pulau Redang), Malaysia

Redang Island is well-known in Malaysia for its beautiful island and beaches and becoming one of the popular tourist destination. It is located about 45 kilometers from the nearest town Kuala Terengganu. Top activities in Redang Island (please note that locally this island sometimes known as Pulau Redang) are scuba diving as well as snorkeling.

There are few ways to reach this island. You can reach Redang by boat from the nearest jetty at Merang. If you consider to use ferry, there is a service provided from Shahbandar Jetty between March till October. Shahbandar Jetty is located at Kuala Terengganu town. Also you can reach Redang Island by flight (yes, there is an airport here!)
