Thailand Health Spa Experience

I have been traveling all round the world with my husband and have found that if you are to keep going you need to take breaks....yes even when traveling. One such break I took was in Thailand, and what a wonderful experience it was.

I had been getting a little tired and my husband agreed I needed some time off my feet and away from the scorching sun. He set up a health spa day for me and although I wasn't happy with him paying he promised me that I would have a great time and it would be worth it. I'm glad I don't look gift horses in the mouth.

I arrived at the resort and was given a nice cool drink at reception and given a comfortable place to sit and relax. The place was incredible, it was so grand and to me this just looked like pure luxury. I got shown to my own private room I was stunned, it looked like a 7 star penthouse suite. After a little time in my room I was then was guided to a lovely decking area and was sat next to a small lagoon-like-pool surrounded by grass. This was an amazing site and I didn't want to leave

I went in to the treatment room about a half hour later and had some body treatments. The one I enjoyed the most I have to say was the fusion stone massage, I was placed on my front and some heated round stones were placed on my back, around which the therapist massaged. They made me feel like I was warm all over and I couldn’t have been more relaxed.

Afterwards I felt a little guilty that my husband didn't get to experience the spa, but I as soon as we got home I booked him into the best health spa I could find to pay him back and say thank you for my Thai treat
